ScanMaster Pro is a professional document scanner application. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data when you use our mobile application.
Local Processing — Your Data Stays on Your Device
All document scanning, image processing, and PDF creation are performed locally on your device. We do not upload your images, scanned documents, or personal files to any external servers. Your saved files never leave your device, and we have no access to any content you scan or store within the app.
Required Permissions
To provide our services, the app requires the following permissions:
* Camera: Required to scan documents and capture images directly. This is the core functionality of the app.
* Storage / Media Access: On Android 12 and below, this is used to save PDF files and documents to your device. On Android 13 and above, the app uses scoped storage or specific media permissions solely to export and save your processed documents.
* Internet: Required only to load and display advertisements via Google AdMob.
Note: We do not request unrestricted access to your private photo gallery or videos.
Advertising — Google AdMob
This app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google AdMob may automatically collect and use certain anonymous data, which may include:
* Google Advertising ID (GAID) for ad personalization.
* IP address (used to determine approximate geographic location).
* Anonymous ad interaction data (clicks, impressions, and app crash logs).
You can opt-out of personalized advertising at any time through your Google Device Settings.

Data We Do NOT Collect
We strictly do not collect, store, or share:

Third-Party Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent any user data to third parties. The only data processed by third parties is the anonymous information collected automatically by Google AdMob for advertising purposes, as detailed above.
Children's Privacy
ScanMaster Pro does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions compliant with GDPR). If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can take necessary actions.
