ScanMaster Pro is a professional document scanner application. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data when you use our mobile application.
Local Processing — Your Data Stays on Your Device
All document scanning, image processing, and PDF creation are performed locally on your device. We do not upload your images, scanned documents, or personal files to any external servers. Your saved files never leave your device, and we have no access to any content you scan or store within the app.
Required Permissions
To provide our services, the app requires the following permissions:
• Camera: Required to scan documents and capture images directly. This is the core functionality of the app.
• Storage / Media Access: On Android 12 and below, this is used to save PDF files and documents to your device. On Android 13 and above, the app uses scoped storage or specific media permissions solely to export and save your processed documents.
• Internet: Required to load and display advertisements via CAS.AI mediation network, and to access Wi-Fi state for optimal ad delivery.
• Wi-Fi State: Used by the advertising SDK to optimize ad loading and delivery.
• Advertising ID: Used by our advertising partners to serve relevant ads.
Note: We do not request unrestricted access to your private photo gallery or videos.
Advertising — CAS.AI Mediation Network
This app uses CAS.AI (Clever Ads Solutions), an advertising mediation platform, to display advertisements. CAS.AI works with multiple advertising networks (including Google, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, AppLovin, and others) to serve ads within the app.
These advertising networks may automatically collect and use certain data, which may include:
• Google Advertising ID (GAID) for ad personalization and measurement.
• IP address (used to determine approximate geographic location for ad targeting).
• Device information (model, OS version, screen size) for ad compatibility.
• Anonymous ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, and engagement metrics).
• Wi-Fi connection status for optimizing ad delivery.

Third-Party Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent any user data to third parties. The only data processed by third parties is the anonymous information collected automatically by CAS.AI and its partner advertising networks for advertising purposes, as detailed above.
Children's Privacy
ScanMaster Pro does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions compliant with GDPR). If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can take necessary actions.
